As a former teacher, Grey knows that a quality education is one of the keys to success. Be it a

college degree or learning a trade, Grey believes in ensuring that educational opportunities are

available to all of NC citizens. As the nature of our economy and workforce continues to evolve, we must provide the skills and training necessary to prepare today's workers as well as those who will enter the workforce in the future. Grey continues to support the ability of parents to have the

flexibility to choose the educational path that best suits their child, be that traditional public schools, charter schools, private or home schooling.

Grey has also championed our teachers and other school employees by voting for one of the largestpay increases for education and state employees in North Carolina history.
